how it felt to walk
among the naked earth
to
feel the untouched nature gathered
hear the wild beings around you scatter
see the transparent force cause movement
and taste the bare fruit of a tree
how could something
so sacred and pure
be covered with
blankets of pavement?
to conquer and claim
they've been told
but
native is life
